Excellent commentary, and I have to add, fuck you and your “There are are those of us who want nothing more than for people like you to feel equal to people like me.” I AM equal, I FEEL equal, it’s people like you, white, cis, male lawmakers who force LGBT people to become unequal through stripping our rights, and white, cis, males who perpetuate the cis-sexism and heterosexism that we have to face every day. THAT is why we are made to be unequal, THAT is why we have to fight for every little bit of change. So fuck you and your wanting to make us feel equal, I’ll believe it when I see it. Step one: shut the fuck up and listen. Your opinion doesn’t mean shit.
